Description: Shodair Children's Hospital is currently interviewing Clinical Intake Specialist right now, this occupation will be placed in Montana. Facilitates entry into the Shodair Psychiatric Programs by gathering and processing all relevant information. Responsible for entire clinical review process to include i! nitial and continuing stay reviews and discharge disposition. Serves as primary liaison between the hospital and any third party review or payment agency. Serves as consultant to the hospital regarding review criteria and regulations, and any deficiencies encountered in the review process. Works closely with appropriate Shodair clinical treatment team to ensure ongoing communication between Shodair and third party review agencies. Maintains communication between Shodair Hospital and community professionals, and promotes a positive image of Shodair Hospital through interagency collaboration.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, nursing or related field. Experience in a mental health or crisis intervention setting preferred. Requires criminal records background check.
