Minimum Qualifications:
1. Psychiatrist with MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school required
2. Unres! tricted license to practice medicine in the state of Montana r! equired
3. Ability to provide services for federally funded programs as evidenced through good standing with the U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General Office required
4. Current DEA registration for prescription of controlled substances required
5. Skilled in team dynamics and
6. Knowledge, understanding and appreciation for the importance of psychotherapy and environment as part of the treatment approach.
7. Skills in basic psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and child psychopharmacological treatments
Position Requirements:

Essential Functions of the Position:
1. Assure accurate, appropriate, and timely case formulation and documentation, including intake/assessment, treatment planning/management and discharge planning. Responsible for outcomes based treatment planning in coordination and compliance with different funding sources, contract requirements, federal and state guidelines for PRTF.
2. Provide clinical leadership and coaching to counselors, insuring that the milieu program follows YBGR policies and is consistent with YBGR treatment philosophy.
3. Lead interdisciplinary treatment planning! meetings, to include educational planning and team meetings on a rotat! ing basis, to insure all treatment needs of youth are met. Responsible for the completion of all Therapy, milieu, and discharge planning documentation for MTPR’s. Understand and communicate the justification for continued need for treatment at a PRTF level of care.
4. Provide, at a minimum, weekly individual and family therapy and twice weekly group therapy in accordance with standards of practice and needs of the youth and family.
5. Complete all clinical paperwork in a timely fashion according to YBGR standards and applicable licensing and accreditation standards.
6. Work closely with Unit Leaders, other CPM’s, therapists, LIP’s, Social Workers, and Treatment Planning nurse to assure quality case management for assigned youth. Maintain on-going communication among internal and external teams to insure proper utilization of treatment resources for assigned youth.
7. Coordinate the implementation of the YBGR consisten! t programming and milieu/behavioral management program.
8. Be responsible for various administrative areas involving but not limited to scheduling, supervision, budgetary, and fiscal matters, and other areas as assigned.
9. Insure that each youth is placed in the least restrictive and most appropriate placement. Assure clear documentation of discharge planning at the point of intake.
10. Provide consultation for milieu programming systems, rules, policies, and practices.
11. Complete psychological testing and intakes as assigned by supervisor.
12. Assume leadership functions with Clinical Program Managers (CPM) as assigned by supervisor.
13. Perform duties related to licensure as an independent practitioner to include but not limited to, on call on a rotating basis, providing clinical training to team members and peers and supervision of master level interns.
14. Participate in appropriate CQI activities, operat! ions meetings, and risk management.
15. All other duties as as! signed by supervisor.

Work Schedule: Exempt, professional position scheduled to meet the needs of the agency.
Work Environment:
Close interaction with youth (clients) for psychological guidance and therapy. Verbal and cognitive skills required. Some walking and climbing of stairs is involved due to the structure of our facilities.
Physical Requirements:
• Sitting - 80%
• Bending, twisting, climbing stairs/ladders, reaching, keyboarding, lifting/pulling/pushing/carrying (limited), sports, restraints - 20%
