Vice President Patient Services
DESCRIPTION: Vice President of Patient Care Services is a member of the executive team and reports directly to the President/CEO. This position is responsible for the quality of patient care and ensures that sufficient and properly qualified personnel are employed and available to carry out the mission of Montana Health Care. This position should be knowledgeable of social, economical, cultural and legal issues affecting health care practices. This is a high profile position providing staff development and guidance to midlevel management ! and requires a strong professional leader. Is responsible for ! the delivery of high quality, efficient patient care working collaboratively with the support services, employee services, and knowledgeable in performance measures and the coordination of this information as it pertains to such. He/she should have seniorâ€"level experience in the management of multi-department staff, scheduling, fiscal budget and maintaining a positive workforce.
REQUIREMENTS:
1.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing;
2.Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Master's Degree preferred;
3.Possess knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance programs and managed care;
4.Registered nurse currently licensed by the Montana State Board of Nurse Examiners or be able to obtain Montana licensure; and
5.A minimum of seven (7) years experience in general nursing, five (5) of which have been in a leadership role.
