Your Impact
The role offers a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with the Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management Fixed Income professionals and deliver the latest technology solutions while learning finance.
As head of Sustainable Investing and innovation platform engineering you will part of the Fixed Income starts with the Fixed Income business based in New York, London, Bengaluru and The Hague. You will be leading a team of 15 -20 professionals based in The Hague.
As a leader in engineering in the Asset & Wealth Management Trading Engineering team, you will be working directly with FX traders, portfolio managers and desk heads to digitize and automate their trading flows as part of the Asset & Wealth Management business growth strategy.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
How you will fulfil your potential
- Gain knowledge of the area of sustainable investing, will be working and initiate innovative initiatives around machine learning, NLP etc
- You have strong background as full stack engineer, are experienced with cloud, Java, Python and very open to learn and apply new technologies
- Participate in the development of plans, roll out of initiatives define the strategy
- Work closely with business users and other developers globally.
- Work in a highly innovative technical team with plenty of opportunity to improve and grow your technical skills
- You lead a team of 15-20 engineers and are responsible for their development
- You ensure we hire and grow the right talent to fulfil the ambitions
Skills and experience we are looking for
- Financial knowledge, ideally FX and/or Fixed Income
- Knowledge on sustainable investing and innovation
- Ful stack engineer background, cloud, Python, Java
- Proven experience as (project) manager
- Good communication skills
