  • Oppein Abuja is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to fill the role of Showroom Manager.
  • The ideal candidate is to serve as the lead marketing executive. You will manage all marketing efforts including planning, research, advertising, communications, and public relations in line with our objectives.
  • To achieve these objectives, the showroom manager will be required to oversee the design of the showroom, and also coach and mentor employees
  • To ensure success as a showroom manager, you should ensure the maintenance of processes that work and the reinvention of procedures that impede sales.
  • Ultimately, the showroom manager will liaise with our team of marketing executives to ensure that our company is a preferred provider within the target audience.

Responsibilities

  • Studying the features of all products on offer.
  • Arranging stock in a manner that is both visually appealing and allows ease of movement.
  • Training staff on effective sales and communication strategies.
  • Negotiating prices and payment plans, and then closing sales.
  • Documenting sales and rewarding employees for these accordingly.

Formulating Sales Strategies to:

  • aid brand management, evaluation, and market promotion strategies, for various existing/new products.
  • develop sales plans, strategies, and policies with a view to increasing/sustaining market share and profitability.
  • measure marketing program effectiveness and KPIs to drive continuous improvement in strategy and output
  • have effective implementation and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the achievement of sales plans and strategies.
  • scan the environment to understand competitors' activities, demand-supply scenario, regulatory issues to formulate strategies for increasing market share.
  • ensure an increased market share and profitability by facilitating market development, brand management, and business development.
  • continuously monitor the pricing patterns within the market, checking the prices for the desired products regularly with respect to their competitiveness and value as perceived by the customers.
  • initiate market intelligence system to provide monthly information to Top Management on potential data, competitors activities, new product opportunities, and other changes in the market.
  • managing the complete sales cycle from business development and customer acquisition to receipt of payments.

Requirements

· Bachelors’ degree in business/marketing or a related field

· 5 years plus marketing experience

· Strong understanding of sales and customer service

· Knowledge of current market trends and requirements

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent multitasking and project management skills

· Prior experience as a showroom manager is an added advantage

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
