Billings Clinic is seeking an experienced rural healthcare executive to lead our newest affiliate site, Glendive Medical Center. Glendive Medical Center (GMC) is a full-service, 25-bed acute care hospital with 24! -hour emergency care, full medical and surgical services, inpatient & outpatient behavioral health services, an integrated medical staff and rural health clinic , 71 bed skilled nursing facility, 80 bed Eastern Montana Veterans’ Home, 13 bed assisted living facility, rehabilitation services, and home care/hospice services. We are dedicated to being a leader in providing and promoting health and wellness to the residents of east central Montana and western North Dakota. GMC is a designated Critical Access Hospital.
Glendive Medical Center is managed by Billings Clinic and governed by a Board of Directors, populated by community volunteers. As the CEO, you would be responsible for the overall administrative management and operation of the facilities for the affiliate/managed organization as delegated by the Board of Directors.
The successful candidate will be a proven healthcare leader with a passion for rural healthcare. A Master’s Degree in hospital ad! ministration or other related field is required. This candidat! e will have a minimum of 5 years of hospital administration experience. Will be required to obtain Montana nursing home license within first year of employment.
