Current health Care Providers CPR Card within 2 months of hire
Preferred
1 year experience working as a CNA or care giver in a ALF, LTC or hospital
Job Summary
To work as a team membe! r with other Resident Associates, Resident Care Coordinators, Resident Services Supervisor and the Resident Services Director on the deliverance of resident care, in order to facilitate resident satisfaction, facility efficiency and provider productivity. The Resident Associates assists with the day to day needs of the residents related to comfort, mobility,medication assistance and ADLs . To promote safety assists residents with attendance at activities, appointments and meals. Help set up dinning area and serve meals to residents, families or quests.
Essential Job Functions
Ability to collect accurate information about residents and document and report to supervisor
Demonstrates the ability to be a team player and assists other Residents Associate as needed
Provides medication assistance to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse
Demonstrate awareness of necessary safety precautions
Demonstrate communication skills in relating to! residents, families and staff
Ability to give safe, comfo! rtable and accurate care according to the individualized care plan
Complies with policies and procedures of BDHS and Hillcrest Senior Living
Maintains a responsible attitude towards BDHS and Hillcrest Senior Living
