JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Analyze business and create action plans to address identified sales/execution opportunities, integrating store visit observations and weekly store level sales results.
  • Create a disciplined culture focused on flawless execution for LS&Co. processes and procedures and initiatives while identifying and communicating to leadership opportunities for improvements within said programs.
  • Optimize traffic through review of store rosters and coaching means of improvement.
  • Set and drive the highest operational standards in the stores in line with company standards both back and front of house – and to support the Management teams in order to achieve these standards.
  • Know the visual merchandising standards and guidelines and ensure they are maintained at store level and work within the company guidelines to ensure the Visual Merchandising is brand appropriate, maximizes sales opportunities and exceeds company standards.
  • Train retail team members on our company and products. Coach the Store Managers on store KPI insight, action planning and flawless execution.
  • Actively coach and develop store team members to drive team performance and build successes, fostering high levels of accountability and autonomy.
  • Build strong, diverse teams, with a blend of experience, skills and potential, which work together to share resources and best practice, and to support each other to achieve common goals.
  • Demonstrate the key drivers of employee engagement and know how to create engagement around the employer brand
  • Build talent by assessing strengths and developmental opportunities, encouraging and discussing career development and providing opportunities for learning through delegating responsibility and following up on execution. Build internal bench / succession plan. Motivate the good, reward the best.
  • Develop a consumer centric service culture throughout the stores by spending time in stores, reinforcing the use of company provided training tools and personally leading by example and equipping the Store Managers to implement customer service processes and to ensure their teams demonstrate behaviors and values consistent with delivering outstanding service.
  • Ensures all administrative procedures like the raising of Purchase Orders, approval of overtime claims etc are executed accurately and on time.
  • Lead ad hoc projects from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Possesses a university degree with at least 2 years of significant experience in Sales and Retail Operations Management.
  • Have a passion in retail and ability to engage with retail teams on the ground.
  • Independent worker and a self-motivator.
  • Ability to articulate issues, present “pros and cons” and is solutions driven.
  • Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, in one-on-one situations and in group presentations. Has the ability to make quick decisions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrates organizational, analytical and planning skills.
  • Must possess effective reasoning, analytical and intuitive skills combined with reporting experience to assess and accurately summarize performance metrics and other historical information for management.
