Travengers AU is a social impact startup that provides travel opportunities and social connection for young adults who are autistic or neurodivergent. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Trip Coordinator to join our team and help plan and organize trips, manage booking and itinerary systems, and communicate with travelers, support guides, tourism operators, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate bookings for Travengers' trips and events.
- Design itineraries using our itinerary platform.
- Confirm availability and tentative itineraries with travelers and Support Guides.
- Coordinate and communicate with travelers and guides before, during, and after their trips.
- Build strong relationships with tourism and event providers while advocating for our travelers.
- Understand customers' needs and organize appropriate experiences for neurodivergent travelers.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in tourism and/or NDIS.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for supporting neurodivergent or disabled young adults.
- Quick learner and tech-savvy.
- Comfortable coordinating and speaking with customers.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Interested in growing with us. You may currently have another part-time role or be a student looking to grow in our field.
- Interested in working in a startup environment.
- Comfortable with change and eager to learn.
- The perfect candidate has both tourism, coordination, and disability work or lived experience and is passionate about this space.
